I would definitely take a look at the "Tips from the pros" section at Full Tilt Poker. Here is one article about playing short-handed no-limit games. There is also another article from the week before or after about playing short-handed limit games.

Generally, the quality of starting hands I play in a short handed game goes down significantly. I'll play most Ax when I would toss it in a large ring game no prob.

Those are good articles. I really need to improve my shorthanded play, as I notice that very few full tables are played at the higher limits where I hope to be eventually.
