This section is really important to many people that feel they want to vent their frustration on a poker room. Let us know what happened to you and help others stay away.

I never have been, and I think your money is pretty safe if you stick to the major sites.

Party Poker
Poker Stars
Ultimate Bet
Full Tilt
Poker Room
Pacific Poker
Paradise Poker

Some of the smaller sites offer huge bonuses to try and entice players to come to their site, but most of them might be on shacky ground because of the huge expenses getting a site started. Plus they are already behind the 8-Ball because the above sites already have the majority of players signed up. Plus players would rather play where there is no trouble in finding a game so the new sites really have their work cut out for them in getting players signed up.

I haven't either, but I would add several more poker rooms to the list over. I trust several poker rooms that run on the prima poker network even though I cant speak for all of them.

Same here, Ive never been screwed out of any money. There were several places that just took forever to cash out any of my money which made me doubt them for a while but eventually they all panned out. Stick to the major rooms and you will not have any issues.

Same here, but I have to mention that I play at the "big" ones. I think there are a lot of small poker rooms on the net, but I like to stick with the trusted and known ones.

It is not in the best interest of a Poker Room to rip someone off. You hear one bad story and that story could snowball into thousands of people leaving your site.

The only bad experience I had was not receiving my entries back. Unfortunately, at my old address I was playing off of a dial up connection. Needless to say, sometimes I would get kicked off and unable to dial back in. I understand if I am in the middle of a tourney and this happens I am done.
But, on three different occassions I pre registered for tournaments and when it was time to play I could not dial in.

I asked customer support a few times to refund these fees to my account, but never heard anything back from them. I don't want to disclose the online poker room but I was very disappointed.
